The author has tried to provide an insight into philosophy of a well-known renaissance
thinker Pietro Pomponazzi to help his reader better cope with religious and secular un-
derstanding of faith, knowledge, and immortality of soul. The author believes that the
increasing activity of religious institutions calls for discussion of Pomponazzi’s ideas.
