The Russian policy under conditions of contemporary

information warfare: from defense strategy to offensive one

The paper considers the concept of “information warfare”. We investigate its strategies

and give specific examples of their implementation. A number of actual proposals on

improving the Russian policy under the conditions of contemporary information warfare

are presented. We also discuss the necessity of changing the defense strategy to the offen-

sive one.
