Methodological principles of introduction
of modality categories in modern scientific knowledge

The article examines the methodological principles of introducing the categories of ne-
cessity, chance and opportunity in the modern scientific knowledge. Ideas of different
kinds of necessity, chance and opportunities are generalized and relevant philosophical
categories are formulated on this basis.
