Mythologemes of Battle of the Neva

Narrative description of the Battle of the Neva in the national historiography is based on

sources that contain logical contradictions and allow factual inaccuracies. Analysis of

these sources allows questioning the accuracy of the conventional interpretation of the

Battle of the Neva. As a result the author comes to the conclusion that the Battle of the

Neva is more myth than the historical fact.
