On the conditions of teaching speech communication
in a foreign language in non-linguistic universities

The article considers the methodological approaches to the creation of special educa-
tional speech situations at the foreign language lessons. A review of the scientific and
methodological literature is given with the purpose of improving the quality of communi-
cation skills of students.
