The dictatorship of the proletariat on the Jewish street
(To the history of the Moscow Jewish public organizations
in 1918–1930)

The article considers Jewish public associations in Moscow in the 1920s: "Poaley-
Tsion", Bund, Jewish section of RCP(b), “Moscow Committee of the Society for Relief
Jews”. The reasons of their emergence and the termination of activity are analyzed. The
policy of the CPSU (B) is shown with regard to public organizations in general and to
ethnic organizations in particular.
