The history of the formation of Kuybyshev Aerospace
Industrial Complex

The article considers the history of the Kuybyshev space rocket complex formation in
1950–1970. The reasons for the relatively weak historical study of the topic are revealed,
the factors determining the choice of the complex manufacturers and their location are
identified.
