The transformation of the manager profession

in the era of globalization

The study tested the problem of transformation of the manager profession in the era of

globalization. The research highlights the historical aspects of the profession develop-

ment and examines the competence of a manager at various management levels. We con-

sider system thinking, multilingualism, multiculturalism, skills of knowledge management

as the basis for professional aptitude and vocational fitness. Moreover, we indicate new

specializations of the manager profession in the era of globalization

.
