The paper considers the artificial intelligence phenomenon as an interdisciplinary cognition area. It updates methodological principles formulated by R. Descartes making it possible to identify the key conceptual framework of technical research in creation of the neural networks, i.e. the problem of the human consciousness nature. The paper shows ambivalence of the union between the biological and technological systems. Risks and threats accompanying the process of co-existence between the artificial intelligence and the humans are highlighted, as they are able to lead to higher dependence on the network structures. The cognitive paradigm aspects are analyzed with a focus on the artificial intelligence application, which affects the human brain, changes the neural pathways, deforms the human thinking, and manifests in a decrease in motivation for cognition. The paper concludes on a special mission of the modern education system, which is acquiring other approaches to include a new generation in the boundless space of human culture. This should help to overcome subordination to imitative nature of the artificial intelligence and preserve the right of a person to decide on the meaning of his existence.
