Synthesis of Cyrillic and Latin scripts as one of the features
of modern Russian

The article discusses and analyzes one of the most interesting phenomena of the modern
Russian language — a synthesis of the Latin and Cyrillic script. On the basis of this syn-
thesis the relationship between languages is shown. We evaluated the role of this phe-
nomenon in the study of Russian by foreign students.
