On the issue of intolerance manifestation and patriotism development among modern Russian young people

The secondary and higher educations are highly responsible for creating tolerant consciousness and are supposed to form the feeling of patriotism in young people.The author’s view on the problem of versatile attitude to questions of national idea, patriotism and intolerance is presented. Various approaches to solving the problem of patriotism as a uniting idea of the Russian society are analyzed. One of the reasons of intolerant behavior is discovered.
