Social networks as a tool in controlling mass consciousness

The paper considers potential and possibilities of using social networks to control the public consciousness. Interpretation of the mass consciousness control is proposed, methods of control are listed, and strategies in protection against the social networks impact on mass consciousness are provided. Particular attention is paid to the influence of social networks on young people, as this group is the most psychologically flexible social group.
