The importance of scientific and industrial practice in the training of future engineers

The purpose of the study was to substantiate the relevance of developing professional practical skills of a future engineer and consider the main stages of the industrial practice at the faculties of "Optical Electronic Instrumentation" and "Rocket and Space Technology". The paper highlights the special features and general aspects of the practice, emphasizes the importance of forming creative skills of a future engineer in solving technical problems. The novelty of the paper is in revealing the necessity of applying both domestic and foreign methods of activating technical creativity. Findings of the research show that it is important for not only specialists of the enterprise and teachers of major subjects but also representatives of other departments to be involved in scientific and industrial practice. The study gives recommendations for further research into the special features of the practice.
