Social aspects of studying Judaism as a vernacular religion

The study attempts to substantiate the belonging of Judaism to the number of vernacular religions and shows that the positivist approach to revealing the essence of religion, developed in the Western European philosophy of the 19th century, and the category of vernacular religion arising from it, will allow the most impartial characterization of modern Judaism. Findings of the research show that Judaism has gone through a certain path, during which the old forms of confession of this religion died out and new forms appeared, making it more viable while maintaining the basic concepts and provisions.
