Consequences of technological progress: socio-philosophical analysis

The paper analyses modern global problems generated by the rapid development of science and technology, and examines the relationship of human society with technological progress at various stages of the formation of the society. The study focuses on the following problems: the effect of mass communication on people, unification of views, irreflection, flight from thinking, and other problems caused by scientific and technological progress, the implementation of technical ideas, and the intensification of human production activities. Within the research, we revealed the changes occurred with a person as a result of the effect of technical means. The study shows the importance of philosophy for understanding the existing problems and possible solutions.
