Problems of determining anthropocultural complexity

The article discusses the study of anthropo-cultural complexity phenomenon, shows its features and problems of definition. The concepts of complexity are substantiated not only by the study of natural objects and cognitive states, but also by the culture itself. Characteristics of complexity, formed in the framework of natural and technical sciences, must be supplemented with ideas of humanitarian complexity. The logic of complexity cognition has to consider not only the cognition of nature (presented in modern sciences about complexity), but also the fact that its conceptualization is possible only due to  a certain level of development of the culture itself. The ideas about the complexity of nature — natural complexity — are dialectically related to artificial complexity — the experience of complexity in culture. A person assimilates and practices complexity long before its conceptual understanding.  The specific character of anthropo-cultural complexity is indicated on the basis of such cultural phenomena as myth, language and art
