Digital forensics: specialty in the field of IT and law begins from the University Saturdays

The article reveals the general and special features of the specialty “Digital Forensics”, the specialization “Computer Forensics” and well-known specializations in the field of current information and communication technologies: programmer, specialist in the field of information (computer) security. The content of computer forensics is shown as of applied science; its object includes information technologies, information systems and data that preserve traces of human actions with reference to the place and time. The article presents an overview of the technical and legal disciplines, the study of which forms the competence of specialists in researching digital traces formed as a result of computer attacks and cybercrimes as well as examples of possible employment of such specialists.
