Modern university education: problems and tendencies

Some problems confronting the classical type of the university under the current conditions of destruction cultural norms are discussed in the article. It demonstrates the tendencies of historical transformation of university education depending form the prevailing type of scientific rationality-classical, nonclassical, postnonclassical. The author reflects about the reason why the main ideas and traditions of classical university education lost its significance now. The necessary changes of the contents and forms translation of scientific knowledge are tendered in the article in order to keep the unique role of the university-to create the high professionals of XXI century capable to produce, to enrich and to use the modern scientific information.
