The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching at a Technical University

The paper examines current opportunities and challenges associated with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the process of foreign language teaching in a technical university. The advantages of a personalized approach, automation of routine tasks, and development of communicative competence among students of engineering specialities are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the need to develop a new pedagogical strategy aimed at fostering critical thinking and ethical responsibility in students when using AI tools. Practical examples of tasks for B1 and B2 levels with a focus on technical topics are presented.
