The aim of this article is to summarize researches devoted to methods and high-technology hardware-software solutions for mechanotherapy including active, continuous (passive) and active-passive mechanotherapy. The analysis of gathered information shows that designing of such medical equipment is going on as well as implementing new methods into the clinical practice. Publications in medical journals devoted to clinical application of the mentioned devices illustrate the actuality of such equipment implementation to clinical practice as well as to sport and restorative medicine, to practical application in health-saving technologies and also for individual home usage after stationary treatment under doctors control.
