Recovery of the RSFSR Economy during the Great Patriotic War

The article examines patronage assistance provided to liberated regions during the Great Patriotic War and demonstrates the participation of workers throughout the country in organizing fraternal aid for the restoration of industry, agriculture, and cultural and educational institutions. The consequences of the Nazi occupation and the role of state and public organizations in the recovery process are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the activities of the Committee for the Restoration of the National Economy under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, which played an important role in the reconstruction of industrial facilities of various significances. The study also highlights the work of Party, Soviet, and Komsomol organizations in mobilizing construction brigades and organizing socialist competition.
