Problems and contradictions of the Russian Orthodox State

The article deals with the concept of the "Russian Orthodox State", one of the actively promoted projects dedicated to optimising the state structure of Russia. By analysing the content of this theoretical model in the context of contemporary Russian economic structure and global social dynamics, the author arrives at the conclusion that there exist in-trasystemic and intersystemic contradictions of the antagonistic kind. The author believes that the prophetic ideas of K.N. Leontyev about the phenomenon of ethnic Russian nationalism as one of the technologies of asserting global cosmopolitan domination are central to understanding the problem under consideration.
