Revisiting the phenomenon of mass heroism

The article considers the issue of ethnic relations which is relevant for contemporary Russia. The facts of Great Patriotic war show the heroism of the multinational Soviet people as a phenomenon of its mass consciousness, the core of which were social and moral values. The author speaks of the need to preserve the memory of the Great Victory, the pride of which should be the basis for tolerant relations in the multinational Russian society.
