Digitalization of media production: adaptation, goal setting, axiological aspects

The paper deals with the process of media business adaptation to the changes caused by widespread digitalization. The study comparatively analyses "old" and "new" media, assesses the confrontation of spontaneous user-generated content with artificial intelligence algorithms and professional media enterprises, and introduces possible strategies for the development of media business in the context of further digitalization.
