Postmodern anthropology: beyond the unconscious

The paper reveals the specifics of the postmodern criticism of metaphysics in relation to M. Heidegger’s fundamental ontology. The category of the unconscious is considered as a basic strategy of humanitarian knowledge — psychology, socio-economic theory, linguistics. The study gives a postmodern analysis of Marxism, Freudianism, and structural linguistics in the context of criticism of the theory of representation. Findings of research show that it is possible to non-trivially substantiate the specifics of socio-philosophical objectivity within the framework of postmodernism.
