Influence of Orthodoxy on education through the example of pre-revolutionary Russia: historical and philosophical aspect

The purpose of the study was to consider the influence of Orthodoxy on the education system, its essence and content through the example of pre-revolutionary Russia. Findings of research show that the full influence of Orthodoxy on the educational sphere is explained by the phenomenon of Orthodox universalism, which existed for several centuries due to specific historical and historical-philosophical features.
