The idea of human in social philosophy: a retrospective analysis

The polysemy and semantic openness of the concept of «human» in the social philosophy are analyzed; special attention is paid to the multidimensionality of this category in the modern philosophy of the 20th century. The semantic openness of the concept of «human» in a wide sociocultural context is proved, the vectors of the search for its identification in the modern communicative space are indicated.
