Chinese character and national psychology: patterns and metamorphoses

The paper analyzes some significant social changes in modern China. The characteristic of metamorphoses of traditional Chinese character and Chinese national psychology is given. A brief comparative analysis of some features of the national Chinese ideal with the individual of F. Nietzsche and collegiality in Russian culture is performed. The topics of the family, attitudes towards children and the elderly people, to power and society, to culture, labor, money, etc. are studied.
