Analysis of main factors determining the appearance of discoveries and inventions in science and technology

At present, it is of utmost importance to study the conditions for the appearance of discoveries in science and inventions in engineering. The paper substantiates this importance and analyzes three basic conditions necessary for scientific and technological progress: the general level of development of science and technology, social conditions, the creative personality of a scientist, an inventor. The value of each of the conditions is of a specific historical nature. We consider the appearance of premature, late, simultaneous discoveries and inventions and emphasize the contradictory nature of social conditions, social order. Although of particular importance is the analysis of the interaction and interrelation of the three component conditions, this area in the scientific literature is poorly explored. Hence, we analyze this aspect on the example of one of the stages of development of rocket and space industry, which gives the scientific novelty to the study.
