Influence of information technology on the formation of the Global World

The article deals with information technology, its impact on processes of globalisation in the modern socio-cultural space. The scientists analyse information technology, they strictly differentiate such concepts as "information society", "globalisation", "informatization", revealing both positive and negative consequences of globalisation. The authors try to forecast further development of information society in the globalizing world.
