Council of Chief Designers: the intellectual and organizational center of astronautics

The purpose of the research was to study the stages of formation and activity of the Council of Chief Designers, unique in composition and organization, and show the role of S.P. Korolev in it. The research findings show that in modern conditions it is necessary to use efficient and practically reliable forms of interaction between leading scientists and designers.
