Analysing expenditures of the Ministry of War of the Russian Empire considered as material for studying the preparation of the Russian Army for the World War I

We present an analysis of the Ministry of War of the Russian Empire expenditures dating back to the 19th - early 20th centuries, which include financial and statistical data. We study the contents of expenditures for several Main Directorates of the Ministry of War and determine the importance of these expenditures considered as a historical source revealing the army funding process.
