The history of the formation of Kuybyshev Aerospace Industrial Complex

The article considers the history of the Kuybyshev space rocket complex formation in 1950-1970. The reasons for the relatively weak historical study of the topic are revealed, the factors determining the choice of the complex manufacturers and their location are identified.
