Training of Master’s Degree students at nonlinguistic universities for effective English language professionally directed interaction

The changing situation within high-tech developments requires well-trained graduates of technical nonlinguistic universities fluent in English to globally monetize companies’ research and developments. These skills’ advance and the formation of professionally directed foreign language communicative competence of master’s degree students are achieved through practical classes of English and the framework of annual extracurricular events that simulate situations of real pitches’ communication. The step-by-step students’ preparation for effective English language professionally directed interaction within annual master’s student degree conferences and inter-academic competitions is described. The authors note the need to study real cases using reliable Internet resources to develop analytical activity and search proficiency, expand vocabulary of English language discourse and improve listening skills. Therefore, the ability of logical thinking, social perception, reflection, the use of appropriate English terminology and locutions typical for a specific style of communication with proper replication are developed including self-awareness and self-esteem. This practice enhances the skills of effective communication within unprepared English-language professionally-directed interaction, encourages the integration of graduates completing master’s degree programs at Bauman Moscow State Technical University into the international professional community.
