The issues of the realization of the professional competency potential of training in translation: A case-study at technical universities

The present conceptual paper develops research and implementation of the professional competency potential of an academic subject within various structures of training technical translators at engineering universities. The researched issue is proved to be of current interest as it invests in the development of both the content and the technology of the relevant training programmes, as well as the resultant development of the syllabi of the particular academic subjects.
