How to deal with participles as a special verb form when teaching Russian to foreign students

The article deals with one of the most difficult grammar issues of the Russian language. It provides a systematized review of theoretical data and practical training techniques and devices to be used in teaching Russian. The author has shown how to facilitate mastering of the topic.
