Digital enterprise in the Industry 4.0 concept

The article investigates the effect of information technology on the operation of enterprises in various spheres of activity. First we outline the concept and structure of a digital enterprise. Then we consider the results of the effect that digital technology has on the rate of return of companies. Finally we describe specifics of the digital transformation as found in Russian enterprises.
