Development of national economies as a new type of competition in the context of globalization

The article presents the scientific concept that states that in the conditions of economic globalization the development of national economies is a new kind of competitive struggle which can be called "quality competition ". The definition of economic globalization as a qualitatively new stage in the development of the world economy internationalization is given in the context of development of scientific and technological progress and production. The characteristics of economic globalization are shown: the standardization of all economic processes, the equalization of consumer demand, the production of similar goods as a consequence of the penetration of modern technologies and production conditions into the world economy, which in terms of competition means the need for the emergence of its new forms. Such a new form is the development of national economies and the strengthening of the role of national states in the struggle for quality of competition. The prospects of the Russian national economy development are shown on the example of the machine-tool industry and the radio electronics industry. It is concluded that the development of the economic potential of national states is becoming a powerful driving force for the formation of competitive advantages of a new type associated with the mechanism of industrial growth based on intensive factors and the development of nanotechnologies, thereby forming a new form of national economies competition manifestation in the context of further globalization.
