Speech communication specifics in the social networks in the context of information society development

The paper analyzes specifics of speech communication in the social networks as the leading communication environment in the information society, and considers its impact on social life and self-awareness of the subjects of activity. It shows that in the context of the life world of an individual in the information society digital reality is perceived by the subject as a set of certain values and meanings encrypted in different forms of the speech communication. The paper notes that the phenomenon of social networks is long being an object of research by the domestic and foreign authors. Materials from various sites, comments of the social network users and their blogs with tens of millions of subscribers are analyzed. Speech communication in the social networks and the blogosphere from the standpoint of a synergetic approach is considered as the emergent system characterized by the chaotic processes, which leads to simultaneous strengthening the positive and negative transformations in the communication area and means of communication. The paper shows that despite many modern studies devoted to specifics of communication in various segments of the Internet, unanimity exists in the opinion that Internet communication provides a significant impact on all the aspects of society life. However, any single classification of the social networks is still missing, and there is no comprehensive analysis of the users’ speech behavior, specifics of speech communication and trends in language alteration due to expansion of the communication scale through the social networks. The paper notes that one of the most striking negative phenomena associated with the social networks development is the cyberbullying, which is the aggressive destructive speech action.
