The process of formation of a new humanistic worldview intended to replace the consumerist worldview that has led modern technogenic society to an environmental crisis is examined. The ideas developed by V.I. Vernadsky in the doctrine of the noosphere are analyzed, including those of significant importance for the formation of a new humanistic worldview. It is shown that this worldview substantiates new principles of human activity in the course of the noospheric transformation of modern technogenic society, ensuring the co-evolution of humanity and nature. It is established that the elimination of consumerist standards and the alignment of human behavior toward oneself and nature with moral norms based on humanistic principles will enable the formation of a new environmentally oriented worldview.
