Priorities of the Russian Engineering Industry
in view of the New Industrial Revolution

The article discusses the basic directions of developing innovative technologies, exam-
ples of their use and difference from traditional process solutions, the economic growth
dependence on resource investments in innovative engineering industry in the short-term
and long-term prospects.
