The Soviet tehnokratizm
in 1917 — 1930th

The main objective of the article is to examine the attitude of Bolsheviks and the party
and state leaders of the 1920–30s to technical sciences and its representatives. The re-
search explored the reasons of establishing a technocratic approach to economy in the
party and state environment. The findings of this research illustrate the importance of
complex objective and subjective reasons, both of internal and external nature.
